Terms of use

Who we are

Nextep is made by [FOUNDER TO REVIEW] legal entity name and address, reachable at alisher@usenextep.com.

Your account

• You need to be at least 13 (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use Nextep.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account. You can delete it at any time from Me → Delete my account.

Your content

Your journeys, steps and notes are yours. You give us only the permission needed to store them, show them back to you, and — when you explicitly choose to share, invite a buddy, or publish to the library — show them to the people you chose. Publishing to the library is opt-in, and unlisted by default.

Acceptable use

Don't use Nextep to harass anyone, break the law, probe or overload the service, or scrape other people's data. We may suspend accounts that do.

The free plan and paid plans

Today Nextep is free. If we introduce a paid plan, the free plan stays useful, your data is never locked behind a paywall, and we will remind you before any trial charges you. [FOUNDER TO REVIEW] Accounts created before public launch have their price locked — confirm this promise.

No guarantees

Nextep is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it up and to keep your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. [FOUNDER TO REVIEW] Have a lawyer confirm the limitation language for your jurisdiction.

Changes and ending

We can update these terms; we will show a notice in the app first if the change matters. You can stop using Nextep and delete your account whenever you like. We can close an account that breaks these terms.

Governing law

[FOUNDER TO REVIEW] State the governing law and venue (e.g., California, USA).
